Welcome to Social Media Analyst. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1) Description of the Service
Social Media Analyst helps you generate read-only social media performance reports using official Facebook and Instagram APIs. The service does not post content or modify your accounts, and is not affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc.
2) Eligibility & Acceptable Use
- Use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable platform policies.
- Connect only Pages or Instagram Business Accounts that you are authorized to manage.
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, probe security, or misuse the APIs.
- Do not resell the service without our written consent.
3) Accounts & Authentication
We authenticate via Facebook Login (OAuth). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and browser session.
4) Permissions & Data
We request the minimum read permissions required to fetch insights for report generation. Access tokens are used only during your active session and are not stored on our servers. Refer to our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion page for more details.
5) Your Content & Reports
You retain rights to the content and reports generated through the service. You are responsible for how you share them and for complying with platform terms.
6) Third-Party Services
Your use of Facebook and Instagram remains subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party availability or changes.
7) Availability & Beta Features
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. Some features may be offered as beta and may not operate as expected.
8) Disclaimers & Liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Our liability is limited to the amounts (if any) paid in the three months preceding any claim.
9) Termination & Governing Law
We may suspend access at any time if we believe these Terms have been violated. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to the courts in India.
